Good afternoon, here are some of the things we worked on this week at school: Math: - final unit test for decimal place value - we began learning how to add and subtract decimal numbers - continued practicing basic multiplication and division facts Literacy: - quotation marks - Book Club - we are up to chapter 6 of Stone Fox - Friday letters - Earth Day mystery word Social Studies: - fur trading game and reflection Science: - Earth Day recycling/repurposing activity inspired by the book (based on a true story) One Plastic Bag by Miranda Paul - We built creations using recyclable materials such as toilet paper rolls, plastic containers, tape, and glue Grade 2 and 3 Spring Concert McKenzie Towne School is excited to present "Singing Through the Seasons," our Spring Concert for the Grade 2 and 3 classes tomorrow.
