Good afternoon, A HUGE thank you to the four parent volunteers who accompanied us on our trip to the Telus Be Brave Hitmen Game on Tuesday. We could not have done it without you! We had a wonderful time. One of our takeaways was learning about the difference between conflict and bullying: A conflict is a disagreement that can be resolved through talking. Bullying has three components: - negative intent - repetitive - a power imbalance is present Here are some highlights of the rest our week: Math: We continued learning about multiplication and division, using a variety of strategies. Ask your child if they can explain them to you. Literacy: We worked on learning how to make inferences. We continued reading our class novel, Odder. We are working on small reading groups and some of us have finished our novels and have begun to create "One Pagers" to represent our learning. Science: We have begun an exploration of space.
